Do you know that Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) is a great Weight Loss Remedy? But it just not only address weight loss. ACV has other uses which we are going to discuss here.

ACV helps to regulate blood sugar

According to a study by Dr. Carol Johnson of Arizona State University, drinking vinegar before eating leads to a decrease in the changes in your blood glucose after a meal. Apple Cider Vinegar really reduces blood sugar spikes if you drink it BEFORE a carbohydrate-filled meal.

ACV actually give you that “full feeling”

This is a trick to make you feel full especially after a meal where you might want to opt for a snack a few hours later. A small Swedish study discovered that persons who consumed vinegar with a meal said they feel a higher level of satiety after eating a meal with ACV compared to those who didn’t take vinegar. Even though the study is small in sample size, the results may give insight on how vinegar can help maintain a healthy body by reducing your calorie intake.

ACV can control appetite

We always have occasional food cravings – and those can be curbed by ACV also! Acetic acid, the main active ingredient of vinegar, has been discovered to be a natural appetite suppressant. U.K. research indicates that our blood sugar drops and leaves us craving less of sugar if you imbibe acetic acid. When your blood sugar level is more balanced, then your craving for sugar and unhealthy foods are lessened.

ACV impacts on insulin regulation

ACV does help in insulin regulation. If you eat bread or any other carbohydrate-rich pasta or white rice with your meal, make sure you also take in apple cider vinegar. An American Diabetes Association study said that your insulin sensitivity may be enhanced after a meal when consuming vinegar with a carbohydrate-rich meal. This is mainly helpful for those with Type 2 Diabetes too!

ACV helps improve metabolism

Do you know you can get the metabolism of a 25-year-old if you take in apple cider vinegar? Although this theory has not been proven in human studies, one Japanese animal study discovered taking vinegar because it increases the production of enzymes responsible for burning fats (a lot more research needed in this topic).

ACV assists diabetics manage their blood glucose

We know this for a fact – you can reverse Type 2 diabetes if you can bring down the pounds – and a weight loss program with the help of apple cider vinegar. ACV is helpful for diabetics because you need to manage your blood glucose level because it affects insulin sensitivity. Since vinegar has been proven to reduce blood glucose levels after a meal, monitor your insulin and prevent hypoglycemic instances.

ACV can help you get a lot of benefits beyond weight loss

ACV not just helps out with weight loss. It can also be a remedy for stomach problems. Add 1-2 tablespoons of vinegar to 8 ounces of water, or add to a salad dressing or soup for your stomach problems. If you also drink apple cider vinegar on an empty stomach, you can reduce your glucose and insulin spikes after a meal; just make sure you don’t drink it straight (add to food like dressings or soup) so it doesn’t damage your throat and tooth enamel.

A simple remedy – apple cider vinegar – but it certainly helps you lose weight and for diabetics, to manage their glucose spikes.
